Why must I write?

I use to think that if I didn't make it as a writer before I was 30 I was done.

It was only recently that I realized that I was still far too young to be a good writer.

Back then I had the imagination and it helped me to build a great frame work for my stories.
I now know that it takes real experiences to put meat on their bones.
At best I think my stories were only good for young adults.
Now I think I can give them the extra boost the need to attract an adult audience.

I even started on one novel, but I was only able to write about half of it. I just couldn't work on it anymore.
I know why now, I just didn't have enough of the life experiences that I needed in order to finish it.
This book I hope will become a novel that takes place outside of the two trilogies, sometime between them.

A number of well know writers didn't start until they were older then me.
At least I can always say in the end, I tried.

I was never a good speller; I was also diagnosed with dyslexia in the 2nd grade and my grammar has always been terrible.

However, time and technology has made it much easier for me to deal with all of this.

Using a word processor program, with a spell and grammar check has helped.
I also have friends that will tell me if they like, or don't like my stuff. Some have even been helping me to edit it too.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

(More to come....)
